CWU has made the switch to virtual parking permits and vehicle hangtags are no longer being used. Parking Services will now monitor campus parking lots based on your license plate which is your permit.

Purchasing Permits

 

CWU employees and students can handle the following transactions online:

Here are a few things to remember:

  • Your license plate is your permit.
  • Enter it accurately and make updates immediately.
  • Parking Services monitors campus and CWU apartment parking lots based on your license plate.
  • You may only have one vehicle on campus at a time.
  • Only the permit holder can use the permit. 
  • Permit sharing is prohibited and will result in a fine.
  • Do not enter dashes or special characters when entering license plate.

Important Dates

  • The Summer Quarter - 2026 permit will expire September 23, 2026.
  • The Calendar 2025-2026 (valid September 1, 2025 to September 23, 2026).
  • The new Calendar 2026-2027 will become available September 1, 2026.

Parking Services is a division of Central Washington University Police & Public Safety. Our office is open Monday-Friday 8-5

Parking is enforced 24 hours a day, every day, so please make sure you park legally. After 4:30 p.m. some Parking Zones do not require permits. Be Sure to Read the Signs!
