Peer Mentoring
Mentors Are Here For Your Success
You can visit us in the James E. Brooks Library located in the Learning Commons.
Welcome to Peer Mentoring! We are here to help you navigate campus resources and propel you toward your aspirations.
Our Goals
-
What Can Peer Mentors Do?
Peer mentors are fellow students and lifelong learners and are uniquely positioned to provide a safe-space free of judgement. There is no limit or restriction as to how you interact with the program. Whether you're striving to improve in your studies, seeking schedule advice, or want to stay on top of your activities, you are welcome. We want to make connections and grow our networking among the campus!
Through drop-in and appointments, Peer Mentors are available to lend an ear, give study tips, and even walk you through solutions.
If you need or want an accountability buddy, someone to help you develop new skills (whether those are social, academic, or wellness-based), or someone to point you in the right direction to a different campus resource, then you could benefit from mentoring! Swing by the Learning Commons in Brooks Library for a drop-in appointment or make an appointment through Inspire. We hope to meet you soon!
Appointments are flexible and tailored to your time needs, anywhere from 15 minutes up to 1 hour.
