Deputy Dean

Dr. Ozden Bayazit

Dr. Ozden Bayazit is the Interim Deputy Dean and Chair of the Department of Finance and Supply Chain Management at Central Washington University’s College of Business. A professor of Supply Chain Management, Dr. Bayazit has been a member of the CWU faculty since 2003 and has held numerous academic and administrative leadership roles, including Director of the Supply Chain Management Institute and Co-chair of the Department of Finance and Supply Chain Management.

As Interim Deputy Dean, Dr. Bayazit provides strategic leadership in academic operations, accreditation, and institutional planning. She spearheaded the College’s AACSB reaccreditation efforts and led the College through the 2025 Continuous Improvement Review (CIR) visit. She collaborates with the Dean on strategic initiatives and oversees the implementation of college-wide priorities, supporting continuous quality improvement, student success, and fiscal stewardship.

Dr. Bayazit has led major revisions of CWU’s supply chain curriculum to better align with industry best practices and future workforce needs. She initiated CWU’s partnership with the SAP University Alliance, integrating enterprise systems education into the business curriculum and creating the SAP Recognition Certificate program to enhance students’ career readiness. She is currently leading the strategic initiative “Educating the Whole Person,” designed to support students’ holistic development and ensure they graduate equipped with workforce-ready career skills.

Her research focuses on supply chain management, decision analysis, and operations strategy, with numerous publications in leading academic journals. Dr. Bayazit’s contributions to teaching, service, and leadership have been recognized with multiple awards, including the Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award, the Boeing Leadership Excellence Award, and the Faculty Excellence in Advising and Professional Service Awards.

Department Chair

Dr. Han Donker

Dr. Han Donker is a Professor of Accounting and Chair of the Accounting Department. He holds a Ph.D. from Tilburg University's Center Graduate School for Economics and Business.

His research focuses on important topics in accounting and finance, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), corporate governance, affirmative action, Native corporations, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and the role of accounting in financial decision-making.

Dr. Donker also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Corporate Governance and the International Journal of Accounting and Information Management, where he helps foster the exchange of ideas and research in these fields.

Through his teaching, research, and editorial work, Dr. Donker aims to contribute to a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities in modern accounting and governance.

Dr. Tennecia Dacass

Dr. Tennecia Dacass is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, specializing as an applied microeconomist with expertise in labor and public economics. Her research focuses on the effects of labor market regulations on immigrants and the impact of public policy on children and families. As an instructor, Dr. Dacass emphasizes the importance of collaboration in the classroom. She fosters an environment where students work together, share ideas, and engage in group projects, discussions, and collaborative exams, leveraging their diverse skill sets. This teaching approach not only deepens students' understanding of the material but also cultivates essential teamwork and communication skills, preparing them for the collaborative demands of professional environments.

Dr. Terry Wilson

Dr. Terry Wilson is an Associate Professor of Marketing who brings a strong interdisciplinary background to her teaching and research. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Cornell University, followed by an MBA and a Ph.D. in Business Administration - Marketing from the University of Washington.

Her research interests include marketing strategy, business communication, and educational pedagogy, with a particular focus on designing engaging and effective ways to teach strategy concepts. Dr. Wilson is passionate about helping students connect theory with practice and is committed to fostering dynamic, inclusive learning environments.

Kipp Marsicano

Kipp Marsicano serves as Lead Academic Advisor, overseeing advising strategy and student support initiatives for College of Business. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from George Mason University and brings a diverse professional background to her work in higher education.

Kipp began her career in the finance sector, supporting operations in private equity and hedge fund environments. This experience honed her skills in organization, collaboration, and high-level problem solving. She also spent time working with adults with disabilities, an experience that continues to inform her inclusive, student-centered approach.

In her current role, Kipp is passionate about advancing student success through holistic advising and meaningful relationship-building. She leads with a focus on proactive support, continuous improvement, and empowering students to navigate their academic journeys with confidence and clarity.
