Program Overview

The Dual Degree Program allows eligible undergraduate Education students to begin taking graduate-level courses during their junior or senior years that simultaneously fulfill undergraduate requirements. This accelerated path saves you time and money while advancing your education and career prospects.

Important Resources

Eligibility Requirements

  • Matriculated CWU undergraduate Education student
  • Completed at least 90 quarter credits
  • Completed or enrolled in 18 discipline-specific upper-division Education credits at CWU
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Valid teaching certificate or pursuing a teaching certificate

Program Timeline

We anticipate full-time will students complete both degrees in approximately 5 years (4 years for bachelor's + 1 additional year for master's). Applications accepted quarterly (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer).
