Application Period: February 15th - April 15th, 2026. The application will be posted here on February 15th along with additional application information and steps.  View the Paramedic Application and email your complete application to Natalie.Baldwin@cwu.edu by April 15th. 

Testing Date: Written exam and psychomotor skill testing will both take place on April 24th. 


Paramedic Program Workshop – April 17th, 9am to 4pm! 

We’re excited to announce a new opportunity for prospective paramedic candidates: our first-ever Paramedic Program Workshop!

This workshop is designed to help you feel more confident and prepared as you begin the application and testing process. Here's what to expect:

  • Morning Session:
    Focused preparation for the written EMT entrance exam, including a review of key content areas such as Anatomy & Physiology and OB/GYN.

  • Afternoon Session:
    A mini psychomotor exam led by program instructors, offering hands-on practice and insight into the testing format.

You’ll also have the chance to:

  • Meet and interact with program instructors

  • Tour our classrooms and facilities

  • Gain a better understanding of what to expect throughout the admissions process

This is a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and Committee on Accreditation for Emergency Medical Services Program Accredited Paramedic program that follows the National EMS Education Standards for Paramedics. The course includes approximately 1,500 – 2,000 hours of academic, hospital and field internship experience. During your paramedic education, you will become certified in (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Prehospital Emergency Airway Course (PEAC). Upon successful completion of your paramedic training, you will be eligible to take the National Registry of EMT’s Paramedic Exam.
